WHO WE ARE (a very brief history)?
Lavenham has had a men’s football club in one form or another based in the village for around 100yrs.
Over that period of time they have had several changes of name, including Lavenham Angels, Lavenham Greyhound FC and Laveham Colts , to name a few.
They have had varying success in those years, playing at different levels in different leagues on a Saturday and Sunday and occasionally both.
We are currently under the guise of Lavenham Royal British Legion FC, as they have kindly agreed to be our main sponsors for the next 2 seasons.
Our colours are a navy blue and black vertical stripe (home) and a sky blue and white vertical stripe (change), colours which have been associated with Lavenham football for many years.
WHEN AND WHERE
We play at the recreation ground in Bridge Street, where we share the excellent pavilion facilities with both the Cricket and Tennis clubs.
We currently play in Division 3 of the Bury St Edmunds Sunday league, whom we joined last season after a long association with the Sudbury league.
Our kick off times are 10.30 on a Sunday morning.
All are more than welcome to come and watch plus its free !!!
