Lavenham Farmers Market

Nearly four years after the highly successful relaunch, Lavenham Farmers’ Market continues to go from strength to strength and is now, without doubt, one of the best Farmers’ Markets in the region.

Held on the fourth Sunday of every month in the beautiful space at Lavenham Village Hall, the success of the market means the range of stalls is always growing.

All the produce comes from within a 30 mile radius of Lavenham and is cooked, baked, grown, brewed & bred by the trader so that you, the customer, can meet the person who knows everything about the product. You are encouraged to try before you buy and have all your questions answered - that is what makes shopping at a Farmers’ Market such an enjoyable experience.

Every month we have stalls selling delicious mutton from the Shotley Peninsula, fresh pork from Kevin Blundell’s Gloucester Old Spots in Assington, Lavenham and Long Melford Game sells duck, pheasant, rabbit, partridge & game pie mix, fresh pies come from Kersey, homemade pates from Boxted, local wines, beers & ciders from Hellhound Brewery and Carters’ Vineyard and smoked olives & cheeses from Wivenhoe – to name just a few!

The fantastic kid friendly Farmers’ Cafe serves homemade soup, freshly baked quiche and cakes, Farmers’ Breakfasts & good quality coffee using local products direct from the market traders.

Come & soak up a real mouthwatering experience at one of the best Farmers’ Markets in East Anglia.

Sunday November 27th from 10am until 1.30pm in Lavenham Village Hall.

Free entry. Free parking.

A Recent Testimonial: I recently went to a wedding in Alpheton, and stayed at a B&B in Lavenham. So on the Sunday morning before travelling back to North Yorkshire we went to the Farmers Market. We got lots of nice stuff, but in particular the mushrooms were amazing, the best I have ever tasted!
Can you pass on my congratulations and thanks to the man who sold them to me, and may be ask him if there is anyone in my part of the world who grows similar mushrooms?
Thank you, and good luck with the market in the future.
Best regards, Sophie

Come & be a part of one of Suffolk’s best Farmers’ Markets – it’s a truly mouth watering experience.
