Lavenham Farmer sMarket

This month Lavenham Village Hall Management Committee is thanking BBC Radio Suffolk’s Lesley Dolphin, for all her invaluable support and coverage she has given the market over the last two years.

In January Lesley is climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to help raise funds for the EACH Treehouse Appeal and Lavenham Village Hall Management Committee will be donating £5 from every pitch fee paid at this month’s Farmers’ Market to Lesley’s fundraising.

There will also be donation buckets at the Farmers’ Market to help in the appeal to raise £3 million to build and equip a new purpose-built children’s hospice in Ipswich for life-threatened children and their families in Suffolk & North Essex.

Please come along to the Farmers’ Market and show your support on Sunday July 25th in Lavenham Village Hall from 10am until 1.30pm.

The market is now held on the fourth SUNDAY of each month except for November and December when, due to Christmas and a previous booking, the dates are as below.
This month we have more new stalls! Come along and enjoy a great range of stalls selling some of the best, local produce in the region. Stalls include local mushrooms, beautiful spring plants, free range eggs, fresh bread from Lavenham’s famous Sparling & Faeirs bakery and homemade cakes, pies & preserves. Plus this month we have new stalls selling locally produced rapeseed oil, beautiful handmade gifts & homewares & handmade chocolate from The Chocolate Planet.
The new Farmers’ Market Cafe run by Diana Patrick of Manor Farm is doing really well as people flock to the cafe for a delicious  Farmers’ Breakfast, bowl of warming homemade soup or a coffee & a slice of freshly baked cake.  All the ingredients are fresh & local & the cafe really is turning into a star attraction each month.

Since the Farmers’ Market was relaunched in September 2008, it has gone from strength to strength and every month we now see upwards of 500 people coming through the Village Hall doors. Come & be a part of one of Suffolk’s best Farmers’ Markets – as featured on BBC Radio Suffolk.
Due to popular demand, we have extended the opening hours from 10am until 2pm.

Free Entry, Free parking & full disabled access.
